Activities
The short term activities have been agreed by the Coalition where in members of the Coalition will organize regional consultations to impact prepare a lobby agenda for food and water security issues in context of climate change. The activities may involve organizing regional level consultations as well as a national consultation . The lobby and advocacy agenda emerging from the consultations will be taken by FWSCI to civil society, political parties leaders and officials.
The members will also take the learning from this agenda to lobby at the forthcoming 15th conference on UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Copenhagen in December 2009.

Other actors outside the development sector- it was decided that once the coalition is formed and established, they would develop the method of working.
On May 26, 2009 members of the coalition met in Delhi to decide about the next steps. Minutes of the meeting may inform about the current options and thought process.
